Vitamin B12 - Deficiency

This Vitamin B12 Deficiency course for health professionals is part of the ‘Health Academy Short Course’ series and provides health professionals with specific information related to the types of vitamin B12 deficiency and how to manage it. The course also contains information about administering the vitamin B12 injection however we would not recommend administering injections without undertaking specific injection training such as that outlined in the Immunisation training standards for healthcare practitioners. All practitioners are also recommended to undergo supervised practice before administering independently. 

This course is suitable for all Healthcare Professionals, including Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers, Pharmacists, and Occupational Health Professionals that administer injections in practice.

This ‘Short Course’ will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
