This 1 day course is regulated by the Health & Safety Executive for the purposes of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Training focuses on emergency lifesaving skills, and the managment of illness and injury.
The course is suitable for anyone wishing to acquire (or renew) skills and knowledge of emergency first aid, for those working in small low risk environments, as well as organisations who require additional first aiders to support those already trained in First Aid at Work.
Course content includes:
Training includes both theory and practical work
All trainers have hands on experience dealing with medical emergencies (paramedics, military, firefighters)
On completion delegates will be awarded a nationally recognised Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. The certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue.
On Site Training can also create this course for you on arrangement either at your workplace or at one of their locations.
Courses may be arranged for group bookings either at our local venue or on customer premises, (provided you have a suitable training room on site). Group bookings are more cost effective and may be held at a date and time to suit your requirements. Prices are charged on a variable daily rate with a maximum number of 12 delegates per trainer (as per HSE regulations).
