The Team Leading Apprenticeship is an ideal qualification for those working in a team leading or supervisory role. The programme covers supporting organisational objectives through a wide range of functions, including: monitoring work, giving feedback, briefing teams, supporting team members, resolving problems, procuring supplies, project management and delivering and improving customer service.
Within your job role, you need to be able to show that you can carry out a range of work activities in a variety of contexts. Some of these activities will require you to carry out tasks whilst working as part of a team. In addition, you need to show that you can take responsibility for your own work and work by
yourself when needed.
All Apprenticeship frameworks must contain the following components:
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
Knowledge of Employment Rights and Responsibilities
Maths, English & ICT Skills at Level 1
National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
The Apprenticeship in Team Leading has mandatory and optional units. To achieve the Intermediate Apprenticeship you must achieve 5 mandatory units and several optional units to achieve a minimum
of 40 credits.
