Active Communication

Communication is one of the most important issues to many stroke survivors, with over a third of all stroke survivors developing an impairment of language, affecting the production or comprehension of speech and the ability to read or write.

This course helps delegates to understand the issues, barriers and frustrations that can arise from having a communication difficulty. It also provides an interactive learning experience to encourage empathy and explores some of the methods that can be utilised to enable better communication.

This course will cover:

  • Living with Communication Difficulties
