  • Spirometry - What is it and why is it performed?
  • Care and use of spirometry equipment and Interpreting results
  • Routine tests and blood testing
  • Drugs used to treat respiratory conditions
  • Inhaler delivery systems
  • Management of asthma and COPD
  • The effects of a respiratory condition on the patient, their family and carer
AIMS / OUTCOMES

Develop essential knowledge and appropriate skills in the quality treatment and management of the patient with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
