AIMS / OUTCOMES
- Perform spirometry to get accurate and reproducible results
- Recognise and rectify errors in a patients performance
- Understand the need and have the ability to perform routine calibration and quality control
- Effectively report the findings of spirometric testing
- Recognise the most common contraindications to testing
- Understand and recognise patterns of lung disease in relation to the patients clinical history
