The School For Social Entrepreneurs
Delivery Method: Face-to-face

The social media potential within charities and social enterprises is huge, but using social media can be baffling and time consuming. This practical workshop will help you to create an efficient and effective social media strategy for your organisation.

Led by non-profit communications and marketing expert Zoe Amar, the workshop will provide you with an understanding of a social media strategy and the tools and platforms needed to execute and measure it.

Designed specifically to meet the needs of social enterprises and charities, the day will show you how to use social media to make connections, generate leads and undertake advocacy work.

What you’ll learn from this workshop

The workshop will be a balance of interactive exercises and trainer led learning. There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion and an emphasis on practical strategies that you can use in your own organisation. On the day you will learn:

  • How to write a social media strategy
  • How to link social media to your organisation’s goals
  • Understanding how your audience uses social media
  • Quick and effective ways to stay up to date with best practice in social media
  • Budgeting resources and time for social media
  • An overview of analytics
  • Creating a ‘social organisation’ and empowering your staff to use social media
