In order to enrol on this qualification you need to be in a clinical supporting role such as a therapy assistant, working in healthcare alongside physiotherapists, radiographers, podiatrists, speech and language therapists or occupational therapists.

Your role will include activities such as preparing patients for their therapy, setting up equipment to be used in the session/treatment, contributing to record keeping and assisting the healthcare professional during the treatment.

You may work in GP clinics, patients homes or hospital departments.
