12 lead ECG training and interpretation course

Our ECG training course and interpretation training is designed to provide healthcare workers with the knowledge and insight to confidently and accurately use ECG monitors. Delivered by trained professionals with plenty of first-hand experience, delegates will be taught how to expertly operate the equipment and understand the results.


This 12 lead ECG training course will facilitate workers to diagnose and monitor cardiology issues in patients and service-users under their care and as the most frequently used diagnostic tool for these kinds of health problems, it’s a vital course for any professional working in healthcare organisations.


What does our ECG training course cover?

Whether you’re a doctor, nurse or other healthcare professional, our training course provides essential guidance on the administration of ECG monitors and traces, and provides a valuable introduction to reading and interpreting the results. Our 12 lead ECG and interpretation training course covers:

Duration

Our ECG training course is completed in one day. ECG taking training consists of a 3 hour session, while the full ECG taking and basic interpretation course lasts for a duration of 6 hours, at a time and location suited for you.


Assessment and certification

The course process consists of continual assessment by the course tutor, case studies, practical scenarios, OSCE's and workbook completion. Guardian Angels Training will provide the necessary competency proformas required to ensure safe and evidenced-based clinical practice following completion of our training course, allowing the registered provider to ensure mandatory competency assessments are completed within the workplace by a nominated mentor/supervisor. Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate valid for 2 years.
