This Apprenticeship offers an engaging programme which is ideal for those already working in a Social Care environment.
Depending on the Apprenticeship role and location, you will either attend college one day a week and will be required to collect evidence and produce work outside of college hours. Their assessor will also visit in the workplace to observe and provide support as required. Alternatively they will carry out all the work in their workplace through support of Assessor visits and only visit college for the functional skills elements if applicable.
You will complete the following courses as part of the Apprenticeship:
The student will be required to complete some mandatory units and some optional including the following NVQ units.
This course will provide learners with the knowledge and skills needed to work in a variety of health and social care settings: including areas such as Nursing Homes, Wellness services, Day Care centres and Re-enablement services.
Embedded into the above courses is a programme on Employment rights and responsibilities. If applicable the student may also be required to do their Functional Skills. (Maths and English)
