Health and Social Care: Adult social care L3

This qualification is designed to provide competence based assessment for staff working in Health & Social Care against the National Occupational Standards for the sector.

The Apprenticeship Framework is made up of several elements:

• QCF Diploma (Competency based and assessed within the workplace)
• Technical Certificate (Day release at The IW College)
• Functional Skills (ICT, Maths, English are all offered if students have less than a GCSE ‘C’ grade in these subjects. College attendance for scheduled workshops may be required)

Students will be required to study a combination of mandatory and optional units. These units are selected during the induction process with consultation and input from the employer, student(s) and assessor.
