Basic Life Support (BLS) - for Health and Social Care

Me Learning
Delivery Method: eLearning

Duration: 1 CPD Hour

Our BLS course is split into easily digestable chunks. You’ll cover all the bases of Basic Life Support as a subject and have all the knowledge you’ll need to confidently deal with life threatening situations with confidence.

It’s not just Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) that you’ll learn about – you will also learn about Child and Infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

The importance of using an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) is also explored in this course, as well as the procedure for dealing with someone who is choking.

However challenging the situation, you’ll be better equipped to step up in range of difficult situations. You might just save someone’s life.

This course is based on the latest Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines and contains guidance and videos kindly provided by St John Ambulance.

You will automatically get a course certificate on course completion – with your name, the CPD hours, the date and learning objectives.
