As a care provider, the CQC will inspect that your staff are competent in manual handling and moving persons and provide a safe environment.

FILL in the ENQUIRY FORM and Peter, our nurse trainer will call to discuss your concerns.

If risks from moving and handling are to be managed successfully, there must be support from those at the top of the organisation, whatever its size. This can be expressed in a clear statement of policy – supported by organisational arrangements – to ensure that the statement is implemented. Employers must reduce the risk of injury to staff and people using care services.

The People Handling in Care Training Course aims to provide staff with the essential knowledge and understanding of the safe process of moving people to prevent injury to themselves and the person being moved, whilst also covering the legal requirements regarding the handling of people.

Sarah Smith (December 2017)
Course very informative. Both theory and pratical. Was able to ask questions and given good response to information that even senior staff were unsure off. All staff were happy felt more knolgded after training.
