This half day course for care staff working in care homes, nursing
homes, domiciliary care & supported living provides an introduction of End of
Life Care.
Overview:
- Explain
what is End of Life
- List the
key policies related to End of Life
- Describe the
symptoms & care at End of Life using the 5 priorities of care
- Discuss the care of those important to the dying person including ourselves

- All training sessions have been written using Skills for Care Induction Related Training, part of recommendations for CQC Providers Guide (2015).
- Where possible content is evidence based.
- All sessions are regularly reviewed to ensure the most up to date evidence is used.
- Sessions will be adjusted to meet the needs of your organisation.
- In addition to the training sessions Caring Footsteps currently delivers, bespoke training can also be written and delivered.
