To apply you should be a registered health care professional working in a clinically relevant area.

This course is offered at Level 3 (Degree) and Masters level and is delivered at our Glenside Campus.

Course content includes:
  • Care and management of the individual with Arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death
  • Holistic assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment and care for the cardiac patient and their carers/ family
  • Care and management of Pacemakers/Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD)
  • Primary prevention and risk stratification in relation to cardiovascular disease.

Delivery:

Study time will include 48 hours contact time.

Please note: Priority will be given to applications received through our funded educational contracts. Places on this module will be limited for applications received outside of this funding. Please check with your employer as a funded contract place may still be available to support your learning.
