Delivery Method: Face-to-face This course is offered at Masters level and is delivered at our Frenchay Campus. It is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
Course content includes:
- The principles of construction and their evolution though to zero carbon standards. Identification of defects and methods of improvement in existing properties
- The influences housing has on health. Identification of hazards in the room and health related statistics
- Defining a House in Multiple Occupation
- A detailed understanding of the legislation, guidance and policy which regulates/influences the safety and quality housing in the UK
- Evaluating and collating information in relation to regeneration schemes.
Delivery:
Study time constitutes approximately 40 contact hours, 24 hours of scheduled learning and 86 hours of student centred learning.
