This is a course designed for all staff who have contact with children, young people and their carers, giving attendees the ability to notice concerns that might make a child vulnerable to abuse or is potentially already being abused.
The objective of the course is to raise staff awareness as to their responsibilities in protecting children depending on their role, also to provide the information and knowledge base to support this.
On completion of this training attendees will receieve a certificate for the number of hours completed at Level 2
All non-clinical and clinical staff that have any contact with children, young people and/or parents/carers, but are not contributing to assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating the needs of a child or young person and parenting capacity where there are safeguarding/child protection concerns, that have not attended a Level 2 Safeguarding Children course before.
Livewell Southwest Academy can also create this course for you on arrangement either at your workplace or at one of their locations.
