About This Course

The most common cause of fatalities in the workplace are falls from height. This course will enable both employers and employees to reduce and control the risks associated when working at a height.

This Working at Height online training course explores the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and other legislative requirements. It covers hazards and risks, completing a risk assessment and control measures to reduce the associated risks. It will enable the learner to increase their understanding and confidence when working at height.

This course focuses on:

  • Legislation including both employers and employees’ responsibilities
  • Identifying the hazards and risks associated with working at a height
  • The different types of equipment used when working at height
  • Safe use of equipment including ladders and maintenance of equipment
  • How to complete a risk assessment
