Course Aims and Objectives

  • To develop participants’ knowledge and understanding of self-injury
  • To identify some of the important issues arising in work with young people who self-injure and to consider ways of dealing with these issues
  • To explore the needs of young people who self-injure
  • To reflect on the practice of course members in working with young people who self-injure

Course Programme

The day will consist of four sessions, each involving participative exercises and teaching input from the trainer.
