Designed, and available to use for anyone who can positively impact public health and wellbeing, the portal offers free access to education, training and professional development resources, to help deliver improvements in public health and prevention. It provides a central location for numerous e-learning resources, reading material, guidance, toolkits and videos, factsheets and many more resources relating to population health.

The Portal brings together material from multiple sources andlinks with All Our Health, Public Health England’s framework of evidence to guide healthcare professionals in preventing illness, protecting health and promoting wellbeing.

This Portal is for you if you are interested in finding content to improve your knowledge and skills around population and public health and:

  • You want to learn more about how to improve or protect the public's health
  • You have the opportunity or ability to positively impact the population's health and wellbeing through your involvement with the public
  • You work with the public or are a carer
  • You influence decisions affecting the public's health

Accessing the Portal content

The content on the Population Wellbeing Portal is free to access. Registration is needed for the majority of content as this allows users to track their learning and access to resources, provide feedback on sessions and retain certificates of completion.

Note: If you already have an account with e-LfH, then you can log into the Portal https://populationwellbeingportal.e-lfh.org.uk with your existing username and password, browse the catalogue and enrol onto any of the Population Health programmes, identified with a (PWP) at the end of the programme name.
