Acute Stroke Management and Treatment. Post-Acute Stroke Complications

Delivery Method: Face-to-face These two 40-minute sessions can be accessed at no cost and have been developed through consultation with staff working in stroke services across West Yorkshire and Harrogate, and is suitable for staff of all grades from the Multi-disciplinary teams.
The sessions will be delivered by Dr Hawraman Ramadan, Consultant Neurologist and Stroke Physician, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Aims and objectives of masterclass
- Induction of the effective measures used in the acute stroke setting
- Understand the effects of currently available acute treatment strategies on individual and population level
- Understand and recognise early and late medical and neurological post-stroke complications

First session - 10:50am - 11:30am (40 minute session)
