This stroke masterclass is one of a number being offered through the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Clinical Stroke Network is being delivered by Adrian Robertson Consultant Physiotherapist at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

The 1 hour masterclass can be attended free by anyone who has an interest in the subject and would like to enhance their knowledge and skills related to this. It will be particularly useful for members of multi-disciplinary teams working in stroke services, in physiotherapy, nursing or occupational therapy, as well as those working in community or care home settings.

The contents of the masterclass include background of pain physiology, and how strokes can lead to pain in the upper limbs. Reference will also be made to treatment approaches. The masterclass will mainly be lead in a lecture environment, and there will be opportunity for audience interaction and questions.
