The Level 2 Award in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Awareness is to introduce healthcare support workers and adult social care workers to equality, diversity and inclusion so that they can be promoted and discrimination reduced.
At First Response Training we can provide face-to-face, classroom-based courses inhouse at your premises or venue of your choice, open courses at our public venues and a range of e-learning, distance learning and webinar courses, as well as blended learning solutions.
By the end of this course learners will be able to
- Understand equality, diversity & discrimination perception & stereotyping
- Have some understanding of the law and how it protects people from discrimination
- Understand prejudice and how it can impact on individuals
- Understand where discrimination can be found in the care field
- Understand how to promote diversity and reduce discrimination in the workplace
