Today, autism refers to a whole range of social, language and communication problems. Severity ranges from hardly there at all, often undiagnosed and even unrecognised, to severe, where it is almost impossible for individuals to participate in society.

This e-learning course aims to provide people who come into contact with children, with basic awareness of the autism spectrum and help to dispel stigmas with the condition.

On completion of this Virtual College course learners will:

  • Understand the range of the spectrum
