Head lice infestations are common, especially among children,1 and can be distressing. Usually, head lice are a nuisance. Occasionally, however, head lice cause complications.2-4 Moreover, head lice resistant to conventional pediculicides are increasingly common.3-5 This module helps you better counsel patients, parents and carers about the prevention and treatment of head lice infestations.
