All organisations that work with or come into contact with children and/or adults at risk should have safeguarding policies and procedures. These ensure that every child and/or adults at risk has a right to equal protection from harm.

Developing and following a good safeguarding policy and procedures means children and/or adults at risk are safe from other adults and other children who might pose a risk.

This Safeguarding DP course focuses on:

  • The duty of care in practice
  • The key elements of a robust safeguarding
  • What needs to be included in a policy and procedures.
