New to Immunisation for Registered HCP (Online)

Health Academy
Delivery Method: eLearning

All clinicians administering vaccines should undertake foundation immunisation training. Our Foundations of Immunisation courses have been developed in line with the ‘National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners’ – Public Health England.

CPD Hours - 12 hours

The initial ‘Foundations modules’ section of this interactive and engaging course includes all of the modules recommended in the National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners’ – (Public Health England) document. This will provide the practitioner with the knowledge and skills required for the day to day issues arising from running a vaccination service, followed by individual lessons on each of the vaccine preventable diseases and corresponding vaccines available in the UK Immunisation Schedule.

Please note: This course does not cover Seasonal Influenza or Covid-19 – please purchase the relevant course packages or add-on courses if you would like these included.

Basic Life support and Anaphylaxis are also available in separate courses.

Very engaging. Covered everything in easy to follow format. Submitting a video assessment was so much easier than having to arrange face to face assessment. As either none are available or only available ones are too far away. Eg My nearest one was in Birmingham, and I live in Liverpool. My staff and I feel that if anyone else was in a similar situation need we would point them to this course
