Delivered over five modules with peer coaching support between each module, the programme blends theoretical input, tools, techniques and practical application to develop your practice, confidence and skill in your role.

Our faculty team have been carefully chosen for their expertise and knowledge around the programmes core subjects as well as their experience of working with Policing and Crime Prevention.


Who is it for?

This programme is for individuals working in a HR/OD/Change role in Policing and Crime Prevention. We have designed the programme for the practitioner’s development and for those seeking to deepen and enrich their understanding of organisation development in context. You will enjoy a mix of taught input and practical application as well as engaging in experiential learning and reflection with peers in a safe community of learning.

  • Module 1: 7th May 09:30 – 13:00 - Organisation Development: History, Overview, Impact and Relevance to Policing and Crime Prevention
  • Module 2: 28th May 09:30 – 13:00 - Impact and Influence: Relationships, building a network, strategic practice in a highly structured context
  • Module 3: 25th June 09:30 – 13:00 - Data and intervention: Diagnosing data, designing, delivering, and evaluating interventions that make a difference
  • Module 4: 23rd July 09:30 – 13:00 - Power, privilege, politics: Understanding and working with power, difference, and culture through the exploration of self and system
  • Module 5: 20th August 09:30 – 13:00 -ODiPC: Enabling and leading change at the individual, organisational and system level


Duration and Delivery

There are 5 modules for this programme and it is understood that upon completion of booking you are agreeing to attend all modules unless unforeseen circumstances do not allow this. The dates for the 5 modules are above. Please make sure you are available on these dates prior to booking. These sessions will not be recorded so you will not be able to revisit missed modules. This programme will be delivered virtually using Zoom meetings, we suggest using a personal device to access Zoom if security restrictions are in place.
