This short lone working procedure course identifies who would be classed as a ‘lone worker’ and explores the risks of lone working and what can be done to reduce these risks.
You’ll learn about employers’ and lone workers’ responsibilities, along with suggestions for techniques and equipment to improve your safety as a lone worker. You’ll cover different scenarios, including working alone in another person’s home, working alone in your own home, travelling, and working alone in an employer’s building. You’ll learn how to deal with aggression and other challenging incidents when you’re on your own. You’ll also learn how to complete a working alone risk assessment.
On completion of the course, you will automatically get a certificate, along with your name, CPD hours, the date and learning objectives.
