Level 3 Award in Online Teaching

The course, endorsed by TQUK is a week long, self paced course. During the week you are required to read the course notes and carry out research to produce written responses to text forums and complete the assignments on the different days. You will also need produce a lesson plan for a lesson (micro teach) up to 20 minutes, which is given on the final day of the course to others on the course. During the micro teach, you will have the chance to evaluate two other micro teaches and reflect on your own lesson.

Course delivery:

The course is available as a week or month long, online learning course with a tutor who will guide you through to completion. The tasks are completed online. On the final day of the course the micro teach will be delivered over Zoom or alternative video call platforms.
