Nasogastric Tube (NGT) training (Insertion and/or feeding) course

Nasogastric feeding involves the placement of a thin plastic tube into the nasal cavity and down into the stomach. This is used to provide nutrition and medicines directly to a patient especially when there are issues or difficulties swallowing, eating solid food, or taking oral medications, for any variety of medical reasons. Our NGT e-learning module provides healthcare professionals with crucial knowledge and practical experience, such as:

  • insertion techniques
  • an understanding of nasogastric nutrition feeding and medication administration
