This free course is designed as an introduction and refresher for healthcare staff, primarily in non-clinical roles, social care staff and anyone who may be in a public sector role who may require knowledge and skills in recognising and preventing the spread of Covid-19.
As the Sector Skills Council for Health, we believe in supporting the sector in any way we can, as such this course has two options available, either a FREE version or a certificated version for a small charge. See below for more details.
This course is not certificated or accredited and is a free awareness resource – it cannot be used as proof of learning. For a certificated course, please purchase the ‘Covid-19 Training for NHS, Health and Social Care staff’ which includes proof of learning if required.

This 20-minute eLearning also includes relevant signposting to further resources and Skills for Health training that may support healthcare professionals in their roles if required.
