Anyone involved in healthcare and social care (paid or unpaid) have a duty of care to respond to the needs of individuals in emergencies or sudden illness. It is important to have up to date training with an annual refresher. Our training is mapped to Standard 12 – Provide basic life support
The Annual Refresher and Emergency Response course covers the fundamental basics of how to approach and deal with an individual in an unconscious state who may be breathing normally, abnormally or not at all. Anyone with life support training should take part in a refresher course periodically.
