Mental Health Awareness Training

Mental Health Awareness Training is suitable for any type of organisation including healthcare, social care, schools and public services. These courses will ensure employees with the knowledge and understanding of the associated symptoms, terms, causes and treatments related to mental health. These courses will usually explore common types of mental health problems such as Depression, Psychosis, Anxiety, OCD and disorders. They should also cover legislation such as the Mental Health Act (1983) to ensure understanding of the assessment and rights of those with a mental health disorder, this will include the detainment of individuals under section 135 and section 136.

According to MIND 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental problem every year. If your organisation is a customer-facing service, it is essential that your employees understanding the range of issues that individuals can face and how to deal with situations employees may encounter.
