Travel Health Training
Travel health training courses are aimed at health care professionals such as practice nurses and doctors who want to increase their knowledge on pre-travel risk assessment and the issues that patients could face when travelling. Topics covered usually include risks to health such as environment, food, drink, sexual health and diseases such as Malaria. Travel immunisation training will focus on the various medicines available to help prevent the spread of diseases. Healthcare professionals and practitioners can keep up to with infectious diseases using the Green Book provided by Public Health England. The NHS Choices website also provides advice to those travelling and the issues they may face
