Terms and Conditions

Fees are always quoted exclusive of VAT which will be applied at the prevailing rate. Fees are quoted inclusive of the training delivery, any formal assessments, delegate handouts and certification. Accreditation from independent organisations will normally incur a separate fee and be charged on a per delegate basis. Payment is required a minimum of 14 days prior to the agreed date of training delivery. We reserve the right to suspend training if payment is not received and payment may still be required. Alterations to bookings are accepted up to 14 days prior to the agreed date. Where changes are requested within this timescale we will endeavour to accommodate where practically possible. Where a requested change is not possible or due to postponement or cancellation we reserve the right to charge the agreed fee in full. This will normally be avoidable if Edify Training is able to allocate the agreed training date to another client. Postponements by Edify Training are extremely rare and normally only ever the result of events beyond our control. In such instances we will notify clients at the earliest possible opportunity and offer the earliest alternative agreeable date. We do not accept liability for consequential loss. Certificates will normally be sent within four weeks of the training course and subject to payment. Discounts, which may be referred to within quotations or promotional material from time to time relate to discounts that may be applied to our full list published prices which are available upon request. Course content detailed within this directory and other Edify Training publications is for guidance only. Running orders and actual content may vary from time to time to take account of changes in legislation, or best practice. Workshops are highly interactive and delivery style is deliberately varied whilst key learning objectives are constant. Evaluation forms will be available on a voluntary basis for delegates to provide feedback on their experience. These forms are used to monitor the quality of our training delivery and aid course development. Verbal feedback will normally be sought after training with the person who booked the course. Training services are delivered via a mix of full and part-time staff, and specialist freelance trainers. Trainer profiles are available upon request. Many of our courses require physical activity. It is the responsibility of the attending delegate to make their trainer aware of any limitations they may have in respect of physical activity and not to participate in any activity that they believe may pose a threat to their health. Employers should take necessary precautions and consider any physical limitations that may prevent delegates fully participating in training as this may lead to failure of the course. We reserve the right to exclude delegates who are having a significant detrimental effect on the wider delegate group. Such instances are extremely rare. Minimum numbers for viable course delivery will normally be 4 unless by prior agreement.

Fair for you, fair for us — a fresh sensible approach to terms & conditions.
