Mary White

Trainer & Owner

As a trainer Mary has had many years of experience working in primary care, and the development of practice nursing. Three years of involvement in facilitation at Health Authority level were followed by two years as a tutor and course organiser at the University of Exeter. Having attained her Masters degree in Health Care she continues her work there as an external examiner and for Plymouth University.

Mary has taught widely throughout the UK and has been involved in nurse development and training programmes in Bosnia, Serbia, Egypt, Slovakia, Uzbekistan, China and Thailand. A special interest in cervical cytology sample taker training is complimented by her consultation skills, team building ability, personal and professional development expertise and training of trainers.

In 2009, Mary was the UK winner in the prestigious UK National Training Awards for "outstanding achievement in education and training".

She is a member of the CCG cervical screening groups in the south west peninsula.
